JSConf Ireland Terms and Conditions

1. Who is Wolk Software

1.1 Wolk Software is legally known as Wolk Software Limited is registered at the Ireland’s Company Registration Office (CRO) under #632219 at Block C, 77 Sir John Rogerson's Quay, Dublin Docklands, Dublin D02VK60, Republic of Ireland (hereinafter the "Organizer"). Wolk Software is a company specialized in software consultancy services and organizing technology conferences stated on this website (hereinafter the "Conference" or "Conferences").

1.2 These Terms and Conditions (hereinafter the "TC") set out the terms and conditions between the Organizer and you when you purchase a Conference ticket (hereinafter the "Ticket") or register for one of our conferences. By purchasing the Ticket or registering for the Conference you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the TC as you are effectively entering the contract with the Organizer. You should read this document carefully.

1.3 These terms and conditions apply to all activities organized by Wolk Software: JSConf Ireland and others. Request more information about Wolk Software via info@wolksoftware.com.

2. Registration

2.1 Natural and/or legal persons may purchase the Ticket or register at the Organizer’s website (hereinafter the "Website") as attendees including speakers (hereinafter the "Attendee").

2.2 The Attendee guarantees that all of the data supplied during registration for the Conference or purchase of the Ticket is accurate.

3. Payment

3.1 Tickets are purchased via our Ti.to website. The payment is processed at the time of the ticket purchase. Our payment provider is Stripe. By purchasing a ticket you are also agreeing to both Ti.to and Stripe TC.

3.2 The Organizer may request verification of payment for the purpose of resolving possible disputes about the purchase.

4. Refunds

4.1 Tickets or Registrations sold to the Attendees or its Business are non refundable.

4.2 In case the Attendee is unable to attend the Conference that is applicable to the Ticket they may transfer their ownership before the Conference via Ti.to.

4.3 In case the Attendee is unable to attend the Conference for any reason and is not in a position to transfer their Ticket to another person within time, then the Fee is not refundable.

4.4 The Ticket purchased is for Attendees’s own personal use or business only and may not be re-sold or transferred for commercial gain under any circumstances. Where there has been any re-sale or attempted re-sale of any Ticket (or any other breach of the GTC), the Organiser reserves the right to cancel the relevant Ticket with immediate effect and thus prevent the Ticket holder from attending the Conference.

5. Change or cancellation

5.1 The Organiser is anytime entitled to change the date and/or venue of the Conference. In such case, the Organiser is obliged to immediately notify all Attendees of the respective change.

5.2 The program of the Conference may be subjected due to chance in the case of a drop out of a speaker. The Organizer will reserve the right to provide a substitute in reasonable effort from the same quality if available.

5.3 The Organiser is anytime entitled to cancel the Conference due to unforeseen circumstances such as force majeure. In such case, the Organiser is obliged to (i) immediately notify all Attendees of the cancellation of the Conference and to (ii) refund the Fee to each Attendee in the amount for which the given Attendee purchased their Ticket.

6. Promotion

6.1 The Attendee agrees to receive and/or accept both written and electronic (via email or other) newsletters and other information from the Organizer.

7. Privacy

7.1 The Organizer cares greatly about the Attendees privacy. The Attendees personal information will be protected and will not be shared with any other business besides the Organizer. The only exception to this is where the Organizer is legally obliged to by court order or legal process served to this Website.

7.2 In some cases The Organizer may ask for an explicit consent for sharing Attendee private information with partners, in case such consent is provided by the Attendee, information such as first name, last name, email, job position, company and country may be forwarded to corresponding partner.

8. Liability

8.1 The Conference is provided on an 'as-is' basis. The Organiser does not accept any responsibility or liability for reliance by you or any person on any aspect of the Conference or any information provided at the Conference. You agree not to hold us liable for any loss or damage incurred as the result of any contracts, communications or other dealings or the presence of any third parties on any Conference’s venue.

8.2 The Organizer is not liable for external links and content entered by users nor partners on any platform of the Conference and/or of the Organizer.

8.3 Each Attendee must make provision for their own insurance. There is no coverage through the Organizer.

8.4 The Organizer shall not be liable for the following:

8.4.1 for any direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential loss, costs, injury or damage to any person or property howsoever caused arising directly or indirectly from the Conference or other aspect related thereto or in connection with the GTC;

8.4.2 for any expenses incurred due to the cancellation of the Conference and/or change of the venue and/or the date of the Conference, except the refund of the Fee as explained herein;

8.4.3 for any delays, interruptions or errors in the transmission or delivery of any services;

8.4.4 for any other costs incurred to the Attendee in relation to the Conference.

8.5 The Organizer reserves the right to refuse admission to the Conference for any behavior, which the Organizer deems unacceptable, in breach of the Code of Conduct located at the Website and/or for breach of the GTC.

9. Content / Copyright

9.1 All intellectual property rights in and to the Conference, the Conference content, and all materials distributed at or in connection with the Conference are owned by the Organizer or the Conference sponsors or speakers. You may not use or reproduce or allow anyone to use or reproduce any trademarks or other trade names appearing at the Conference, in any Conference content or in any materials distributed at or in connection with the Conference for any reason without the prior written permission of the Organizer.

9.2 For the avoidance of doubt, nothing in this Agreement shall be deemed to vest in you any legal or beneficial right in or to any trademarks or other intellectual property rights owned or used under license by the Organizer; nor does the GTC grant to you any right or license to any other intellectual property rights of the Conference, all of which shall at all times remain the exclusive property of the Organizer.

9.3 The Organizer allows cameras on the show floor. You may take pictures and/or record the Conference within the show for purposes of company/organization, media pieces, annual reports, or marketing materials, etc.

9.4 Attendee promises and guarantees not to post falsehoods, racist, discriminatory, inflammatory or other harmful content on any Conference’s and/or Organiser’s framework.

9.5 You consent to image, film and sound recording as the Attendee at any time at the Conference.
